Bournville Warriors Football Club
Under 11s Team Newsletter
December 2009
Congratulations
to all our players who have shown us great commitment over the last twelve months, both at training and in games on a Sunday.
Playing eleven a side is a big change for both the players and the coach!
They are
doing you proud. It is particularly pleasing to see how committed they all are and how keen they are to work together as a
team. Watching them celebrate some of the goals this season has brought a lump to my throat and makes me realise why I love
the game.
Training
Training will be restarting on Saturday January 2nd from 10
until 11:30. We have a game on Sunday the third.
Thanks to all who came to training last week at 12:30, this enabled me to watch
Sam play and was much appreciated. I don’t plan to do this every week but was hoping to rearrange training again for
12:30 until 2pm on 9th January
and 27th February 2010.
Helpers
Help from
Justin has been very much appreciated and I am pleased to say that he plans to take his Level one qualification in the New
Year. Thanks also to Taff for helping when he can. I am grateful to all parents who have been linesman this year; it is a
difficult job that someone has to do. Those of you who are putting up the goals and the respect barrier are doing your bit
and it is appreciated.
Kit
I hope that you like the new kit and
thanks for getting it washed!
